The lake level gauges at Goldston's Motel pier and Turtle Cove
indicate that 2020 lake levels increased with winter rains, and with the continuation of high rainfall, lake levels have remained high, despite water loss from evaporation.

The new lake elevation gauge at Turtle Cove was set by Walker Surveying, after taking an elevation reading of the lake on January 16. The elevation on that date was 64.5 feet above sea level based on the NAVD 88 Datum (which is one foot lower than the old survey datum). The elevation on February 7, when this photo was taken was 64.8 feet above sea level (NAVD 88).

WHICH WAS 1.5 FEET HIGHER THAN LAST SUMMER
