Responding to the Requests for More Communications About White Lake


Rain, rain--its not going away anytime soon, it appears--so it is water, water everywhere.  As a result, the lake level is continuing to increase, demonstrating the typical pattern of winter highs, summer lows.  Additional information on lake level monitoring for 2019 is provided under the Planning Resources tab.

WHITE LAKE WATCH

White lake is a State-Owned Lake that is managed through the NC Division of Parks and Recreation, Singletary Lake Superintendent's Office.


The Town of White Lake is funding special projects and lake monitoring that supports science-based decision making and management.


The Lumber River Council of Governments has received a Clean Water Act 205(j) Water Quality Planning Grant to support White Lake planning and education/outreach efforts.
